This clock has had the original mechanical movement replaced with a modern, new quartz movement. You should get many years of trouble free accurate use out of this clock. The factory equipped movements were very unreliable and often quit after a couple years use. We now put a new lens in every rebuilt 1969-70 XR7 / Eliminator clock we sell. Not only has the movement and lens been changed but every part of this clock inside and out has been given attention. We have used several clock restorers over the years and have settled on one. Every clock is done right the first time and as these photos show, pride in workmanship radiates!
Always remember to include a photocopy of your original invoice when seeking a core refund.
Without the knob, cores have no value.
Quartz movement clocks have second hands that click around, original clocks had a constant sweep of the second hand.
