Used / refurbished center cap emblem for the Mercury Cougar with XR7 hubcaps / wheel covers. On the XR7 package, this concave aluminum applique was applied to the center of the hubcap / wheel cover. These are always faded, so we've "restored" a few with Sharpies, as shown in the picture. Believe it or not, it works pretty well and allows the shiny aluminum to show through the red. Be advised that the sharpie treatment doesn't hold up very well to rain and weather, so this is best for garaged cars. Unfortunately we don't have any originals that still have their red anodized coating, so this was the best solution we could come up with to bring the color back.
