    This is for your three or four speed manual transmission 1970 Cougar. The 70 is unique over the 69 in that it does not have a provision for your seat belt buckles. This part requires an additional woodgrain bezel that affixes to the top, we also have one listed that does not require the additional bezel. 
    *Note - This console part does have pre-drilled holes for installing the woodgrain top pieces.
