Part number C6AA-5A272-A is the factory style 2-1/4" tailpipe clamp.

Good used tail pipe hanger with decent rubber still attached. Mounts to the frame on the right side of the fuel tank. Supports and holds the rear of the tailpipe stationary. All 1968 - 1970 dual and single exhaust Cougars, all engines. 1970 differs in that the tail pipe clamp was spot welded to the hanger.
