This three part bracket assembly attaches to the console and to the stud protruding from the back of your radio. These anti static devices were installed under the front bearing dust caps on cars equipped with factory installed AM-FM radios. The part pictured is NOS, the one we currently have in stock is used. Sold individually.

According to the 1968 Cougar Electrical Assembly Manual on page #57, the cowl ground strap is called the "Strap Radio Receiver Hood Bonding." Ford part # C5AA-18870-A, the screw carries a part # of 380923.

C6OA-18832-A is the number stamped into the end of the Autolite capacitor. Attaches to one of the lugs on the voltage regulator, bullet lead plugs into wiring harness. Sometimes called a radio ignition interference suppressor. About 1-15/16" inches long. This is one of those small detail items that judges like.
