This product is an NOS Part.
NOS items are OEM parts from Ford that have been sitting on shelves or in warehouses for years. These are often great examples of the orignal parts, but they may have scratches or other shelf wear.
However be aware that some NOS parts are "service replacement" parts. "Service replacement" parts are not exact replacements of the parts that were installed at the factory, but are what Ford considered as "good enough" and were used at Ford dealerships after the original supply of parts was exhausted.

NOS 4 foot by 3 foot giant dealership poster advertising the new 1967 Mercury Cougar "Powered by the same V8 dependability that won the Indy 500 3 years running". These posters were not made for the general public, they were hung up in dealerships across the country. We were lucky enough to get our hands on one, so we're passing on the possibility of owning it to one of you lucky Cougar owners. It's been folded for 57 years, but we had to open it up to take a photo for you and luckily none of the folds are torn!
