1969 Mercury Cougar

These clips are found on the power window swtiches of the 69 - 70 Cougar. Each power window switch has one of these clips and one of the J hook clips.6 small clips required per master switch panel, one for each window switch and two per lock out switch. 

These same clips are also found on the four rocker switches located in the center of the 1969-1970 XR7 dash pad. Do not bend the "J" shaped tab any further than is necessary to release the plug from the back of the switch as these break easily. There are 16 of these used on a Cougar with power windows in 1969, add the 8 in the dash of the XR7 Cougars and some cars have a total of 24.Replaces Ford part number C9AZ-14530.

Non-original style replacement clip for mounting the quarter window regulator arm to the window channel bracket on all 1969-70 Cougar and Mustang coupe and convertibles. This clip will work with either the 1969-early 1970 bracket and the late 1970 bracket. The late 1970 brackets used a unique spring steel clip that seldom is reusable. Sold individually, one each per window.

Partially dipped clip for attaching the seal on top of the radiator core supports. Often times with air conditioning the seals were installed. The factory sometimes used staples, sometimes clips. You would have to investigate your core support for staple holes. 5 clips are typical for attaching the seal. Spread them apart to where it looks equal. Applications: 1967 - 1969 Cougars and Mustangs equipped with the 390 engine, and 1970 Cougars and Mustangs with the 428CJ engine. ...

This is the speedometer cable clip that connects to the firewall and transmission tunnel. Replaces Ford Part # : 373829

New clip for holding a single wire. Often times this clip is used for the trunk light. Also seen under the dash panel on select years. Most likely other locations too from the factory. Panel hole size is 1/4 inch. From the factory one clip was used per car for the trunk light. Sold individually.  Replaces Ford part number 382929-S.

These original hood blanket clips grip much better than the reproductions. Usually there were 10-11 of these clips used but it can vary from car to car as they tended to be inconsistent at the factory on how many of the available holes they actually stuck a clip into. Sold Individually.
