Locking nut for attaching the door window regulator to the window channel bracket on any 1969-70 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. While we do not sell the T-bolts for attaching to the regulator, we do have a retainer to keep it in the front channel bracket. Find it here.

These inserts snap into your window elevators, four per elevator, eight per door for a total of 16 per car. Often the originals are worn down from lack of lubrication which will cause your door glass to rattle. The originals were more of a clear plastic, these are white in color. New bolt for installing the door glass window run on any 1969-70 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This is the lower bolt that goes into the bottom of the door. 1/4-20 threads, hex head but a shallow hex head, Originally installed with a rubber seal, which is not included. 7/16" hex head, these had a Ford part number of 379513-S100. 2 needed per door, 4 per car, sold individually. Black silicone is a good substitute for the seal.

383278-S 1/4-20 Nut with spinning or captured washer, sometimes called a swivel nut, for attaching various door window components for 1970-1973 Cougar and Mustang bolt-in door glass. This nut was used to fasten the guides into the 1970 bolt in glass. Both deluxe and standard used the same retractor in 1968 - 1969 and left is the same design as right. Grade "B" retractors will be 100% functional but cosmetically will show a crack in the plastic holster, and may have minor rust on chrome. Keep in mind no retractor was used in convertibles until 1972, only a lap belt. NOTE: Front retractors are same for left and right, and are good for all 67-73 Cougar AND Mustang applications. Reproduction set of Deluxe seat belts for the 68 - 69 Cougar or Mustang Coupe. Some things you may want to notice are that although these are made to fit both 68 and 69, the webbing is the 68 style. 1968 belts had four rows of material that make up the belt and 1969 belts had three rows (as seen in the picture above).
