Used passenger side (right hand) brake spindle for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang equipped with disc brakes. Clean western part with no heavy corrosion like you see on eastern cars. These are from 1968-69 Mercury Cougars, but fit 1968-69 Ford Mustang and 1968-69 Ford/Mercury mid sized cars such as Torino, Montego, Cyclone, and Ranchero.Ford casting # C8OA-3107-B. Our supplier started with a set of used but excellent condition Ford originals and created these spindles and double checked them against original Ford blueprints. They're constructed from FORGED JIS S45C grade steel, and a protective, black e-coating was applied. All surfaces are precision machined. Often when your fuel gauge is acting up, this is the culprit, not the gauge or sending unit. The benefit of using this foam float, is that sometimes the hollow brass float will leak, causing a bad reading. This foam version of the float is fuel resistant and will never leak.
