NOS brake light warning switch for Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang and Torino and is identified by the two pin connector. Screws into the brake distribution block. On a dual reservoir master cylinder this switch is supposed to light up if one side or the other loses pressure. For both disc and drum brake systems. C3OZ-1126-B Used brake drum with the vintage casting look. Guaranteed to successfully be turned and not exceed the manufacturers inside maximum of 10.060". When we say the "vintage casting look", we mean with the proper groove and contours. Reproductions are fine, but do not retain the casting design of the original casting company. Used emergency / parking brake assembly for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang and is as removed from a West Coast Cougar organ donor. 1969 had a weak design and the release levers were prone to bend and break off. 1969 used a T shaped chrome release handle and 1970 used a black plastic T shaped release knob, which generally aren't interchangeble. Reproduction inner floor frame rail patch for the Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang coupe and convertible. As this item is for a Mustang, you will find that you will have to modify it to work with your Cougar. This unit measures 28" long where the Cougar piece is 19". This unit is a 1/4" wider than the Cougar piece as well.

Now you can replace this original part, which is commonly stripped out, with a nice reproduction. Must be welded to floor pan. 6 total per car, 2 inboard in the transmission tunnel, and 4 on the rear seat pans. BOSS 302, 351w, 351c, 390 and 428 Eliminator Cougars all used the same scoop whether they were equipped with Ram Air or not. The Scoop measures 21 5/8" at the widest point on the front, 25" at the widest point at the rear and 26 1/8" tall when stood on end and measured at its longest point. Our grade "B" fender extensions will have dings, scrapes or warping due to over tightening of studs. There are very slight differences between 1969 and 1970 and they do carry different part numbers. This used header will be as good as you can get and it can be restored with some TLC. The part you get will be solid with minimal or no corrosion. Ford casting number C9ZB-76514A72-A

Good reproduction reinforcing plate, contours are like the C5ZZ-7610962-A plate which was used through 1970. Thick steel like the originals, and with same contours. Bolts to the left hand and right hand lower floor reinforcement panels. Bolts into place with 6 hex bolts 3/8-16 x 1-1/8" with washers. These were painted satin black from the factory. This black wire attaches to the fusible link coming off the starter solenoid on one end then passes through the firewall to mate with the top switch wiring at the other end. Correct for both XR7, Standard convertibles and power sunroof equipped Cougars.

Detachable mounting plate for installing the passenger side convertible ram cylinder, to the convertible top frame assembly behind the quarter interior panel. Right and left are the different, fits all 1969-70 Mercury Cougar and 1965-70 Ford Mustang convertibles. Ford part number C5ZZ-76531A18-A.

100% complete top frame as removed from a 69 - 70 Cougar. These tops are identical to Mustang with the exception of the rear bow being slightly higher on a Cougar. We carefully break this down by removing the header and crossbows and placing the original bolts back in the holes. Once you get this from UPS it will be very evident how it goes back together.

Used grade "B" passenger side (right hand) convertible top boot moulding / trim for the Mercury Cougar XR7 convertible. These are unique to the XR7 as the standard convertibles used the shorter version (same as Mustang) that ended at the quarter window. We are often asked, "Why so much?" This short section of wiring attaches to the terminal post on the starter solenoid that faces towards the firewall. The other end is a female plug that incorporates a fusible link. If your switch were to get stuck or the frame got in a bind with continued power being applied this is the portion that would blow saving you from a costly wiring "melt-down". This same part was used on both XR7 and standard Cougars with a power sunroof or convertible top.

C5ZZ-7610962-A Ford description of this plate is "Plate - Front floor lower cross member". All 1967-73 Cougar convertibles and all 1965-73 Ford Mustang convertibles use this plate. Bolts into place with 6 hex bolts 3/8-16 x 1-1/8" with washers. These were painted satin black from the factory. As you look at our picture below you will see the repro is about half the thickness.
