1969 302-4V Boss Eliminator Holley 4150 carburetor, 4 speed manual transmission - all 50 states. C9ZF-9510-J stamped on the carburetor air horn with a 903 date code. Holley list #4511, 780 cfm. With 1969 dates. *TRIVIA* 1969 390 S code Cougars were not technically the 390GT variety. Used engine or 'motor' mount for any 1969 Mercury Cougar or 1967-69 Ford Mustang convertible. There is not a replacement engine mount for the 1967 cars with 289 engine. If your original is pitted or has come apart this will be a clean, crack free used replacement that will easily snap in place. We have a reproduction, but the finish is rougher, as shown in the comparison photo. There were originally two versions of this switch: the one shown with both round contact points in plastic, and another which had one in metal.

We do not have any at this time . . . Very rare part in great condition. This was pulled from a very original 1970 H code XR7 with power windows, tilt column and AC. Technically not correct for 69 in that the shade of green would be darker in 1969. Why this car did not have the xr7 woodgrain delete plate we are unsure.

Take a look at the smaller image to see the repro and used side by side. The repro is slightly taller and has extra holes in it so it fits other applications. Why deviate from 100% correct if you don't need to. Ford Part # C9ZZ-18842-A.

This tube is embedded into the cylinder head making it rather difficult to remove intact. Note that the nut and ferrule assembly is made of two pieces, with the ferrule being a compression fitting used to secure the smog tubes to a series of ports on the cylinder head. Application is for the FE engines 390, 427 428. This assembly is needed for the installation of the cylinder head air supply tubes. Sold as one nut / one ferrule. 8 total needed for smog tube attaching. Originally these were installed in conjunction with a lower tube.

These were installed at the factory on 390 / 427 / 428 equipped cars that were exported to countries that did not require the smog system. They are much shorter than the over the Ford counter service plugs you see in the states that are put on after one removes the smog system.

This unit mounts on the main air chamber, it opens and closes the air vent. Made of nylon with a steel and brass plunger just like original. This unit is easy to test and can be seen by removing the glove box. Often it is the internal spring that fails on these and if your Cougar or Mustang will not easily change between blowing through the defrost ducts and the floor duct, this unit may be the culprit. This lid is about 16-3/4 inch in diameter. Identified by the spokes in the stamping. 1967 and 1969 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with S code 390-4V engines. This rechromed lid is found on many years and cars 1968 - 1971. The diameter of the lid is just over 17 3/4", fits on 17.84" air cleaner bases. This vacuum actuated door assembly was used on several performance motors without Ram Air. When extra air was needed under heavy acceleration the vacuum actuator opened the door on the side of the air cleaner base. The actuator on this unit needs to be rebuilt so this is considered a good core only.
