    Description

Keep in mind that if you have the original motor mounts in your 1967 with a 289 or 1969-1970 convertible these mounts will not work. Nobody sells motor mounts for them, period. This is contrary to what every auto parts store will tell you. Your options are to purchase our (used 68-70 frame stands) or modify your existing ones.

Sold individually, two required per car, left is the same as right.

    Pros:
    • Good mounts
    Cons:
These are good mounts but just a heads up that if you have a 1969 Mustang with a 351 Windsor, on the passenger side I had to grind the edge of the mount down to be able to line the holes up. The driver's side was fine.

    Did not fit!

    • lots of frustration!

I had two mechanics spend 4hrs trying to drop a motor in using these mounts and brackets to no avail, and we finally ordered a pair of motor mounts from NAPA, and had the motor installed in 30 minutes. Their statement, "Keep in mind that if you have the original frame stands in your 1967 with a 289 or 1969-1970 convertible these mounts will not work. Nobody sells motor mounts for them, period" is completely false. I called in before I ordered them just to confirm this statement, and was told this was correct, and you had to order some other frame brackets to make them work. NAPA had them for $13.49ea, and they worked perfectly in my 69 XR7 convertible. I am very disappointed, and it cost me $400 in labor! You guys may not see much more business from me.

WCCC Response: Sorry for the confusion, but as this listing clearly states, these mounts will NOT fit a convertible.
