Original stainless wiper blade assembly, pulled right off of a 1969 Mercury Cougar. ANCO brand original marked Made in USA O. E. by ANCO. Sold individually, two per car, 16" rubber wiper blade not included. These are production line installed wiper holders, we very seldom have them in stock. Originals didn't easily allow the replacement of the rubber blades. Notice the metal flap keeper on each end for capturing the rubber wiper blade?
Original FoMoCo used two speed windshield wiper motor for your 1969-70 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This used motor comes with wiring harness with unique grommet for the firewall specific to 1969-70 Cougar and Mustangs. Motors are tested and guaranteed to work, 90 day warranty. Linkage arm for the 1969-70 installation, must be marked 9Z. Linkage arms sold separately. Ford part # C9ZF-17504-C.
For 1968 Ford standardized or changed all of the J-bolt threads to the beefier 1/2"-13. We have noted two variations of this wing nut. The most obvious identifier between the two is the tabs in the center. The majority have these tabs present, the minority do not. We also stock and carry the correct disc or hold down plate, and the J bolt. Lots of sizes and lengths for those. Do you have the correct one?
This black wire attaches to the fusible link coming off the starter solenoid on one end then passes through the firewall to mate with the top switch wiring at the other end. Correct for both XR7, Standard convertibles and power sunroof equipped Cougars.
This short section of wiring attaches to the terminal post on the starter solenoid that faces towards the firewall. The other end is a female plug that incorporates a fusible link. If your switch were to get stuck or the frame got in a bind with continued power being applied this is the portion that would blow saving you from a costly wiring "melt-down". This same part was used on both XR7 and standard Cougars with a power sunroof or convertible top.
This black wire attaches to the fusible link. The Fusible link connects to the starter solenoid with an eyelet connector, then connects to this wire with a billet connector. Used wiring cover for the tilt / tilt away steering column found in the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Unique to the 1968 and 1969 tilt column, fixed column version will not fit on a tilt without modification. Ford part number C8ZZ-13376-A or C8ZZ-13376-B.
