Used vacuum actuator for the tilt / tilt away steering column in the Mercury Cougar, Ford Mustang or Thunderbird. This vacuum actuated door assembly was used on several performance motors without Ram Air. When extra air was needed under heavy acceleration the vacuum actuator opened the door on the side of the air cleaner base. The actuator on this unit needs to be rebuilt so this is considered a good core only.
