No broken studs, cracks, bends or chips. Originally these came painted on most cars, but in rare cases like the 1970 Hounds-tooth edition or select two tone paint cars, they came chrome plated. Since we always claim to have parts nobody else does... This welds to the bottom side of the car just above the differential. When the rear suspension bottoms out, this is the plate the rubber snubber / bumper (mounted on the front on top of the dif.) makes contact with.

Copper washers like the OEM Ford installed washers. Reproduction rubber bumper that mounts to the metal axle snubber on Ford nine inch rear ends on 1969 - 1970 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs. New part with a course threaded stud, also called a pinion bumper. The correct casting number is seen on this rubber axle bumper is C9OA-4906-A, this version has course threads. The version most often seen on the 1967-68 is C3AA-4906-C. It will have a fine threaded mounting stud.
