1969 Mercury Cougar

Never opened 1/25 scale 1969 Cougar XR7 Street Machines model kit #6533-10E0 from the AMT ERTL company in Dyersville IA. Includes detailed BOSS 429 engine with performance modifications, moveable steering wheel, vinyl tires and clear and plated parts. Decals include hood stripes with claws and a Cougar sunset mural type quarter panel image.

This was one of several award tokens given to salesmen for achieving different levels of success back in the early 70's. The other coins in the set included the Cobra GT40 Shelby and Pantera. These are highly sought after and were never available to the general public.

Reproduction 2 speed windshield wiper switch for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. These "off shore" units are spotty at best. We recommend our good used units which you can get right here.

Good used windshield wiper switch for any 1969 Cougar or Mustang. Marked C9ZB-17A553-A on the back. This is the two speed variety, the 1970 switch has a longer shaft than this 1969 version.

The second image shows an original GE 212-1 bulb. These bulbs are no longer available, they have been superseded by bulb 212-2 (first picture).

Miniature light bulb for any 1969-70 Mercury Cougar Standard Model with the door ajar feature. Non-XR7 Cougars, but with the convenience group option. Original equipment GE 257 light bulb. This is a flashing light bulb. It has a metal strip that heats up and breaks contact for a flashing effect. Starts out with the bulb on, and eventually starts flashing over a period of a few seconds.

3/8 washer for installation of idler, adjusting pulleys, and brackets, on some 1968-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford anything, including Mustang. Sold individually, 1-2 are typically used per car.

NOTICE: The supplier is no longer making the previous version of the upper hose, and the new hoses will have more of a textured outer wall.  Some Vendors show C8ZE for the upper hose, but C8WE is the correct stamping.
