Outer casing for the C6 transmission on the 71 - 73 Cougar or Mustang. Case only, does not include any of the inner workings or output shaft.

Used convertible top flapper stopper. Technically called a "lasting", this is the thin strip of 1/16" thick metal that slides inside the sleeve of your convertible top to keep it from flapping. We will rarely have these on hand, so we've included the dimensions so that you can fabricate your own if needed. 2 required per vehicle.

Parking brake return spring cup for the 69 - 73 Cougar or Mustang. This cup sits at the end of the spring and is held in place by an adjusting nut. It's used to keep the spring from sliding off of the front emergency / parking brake cable.

Coil bracket mounting bolt for all V-8 engines as found in 1967-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. This3/8-16 bolt attaches the coil bracket to various places on the engines. Either on the intake manifold or the cylinder head. Will fit stock Ford cast iron intakes as found 1967-73. AMK bolt B-13722.

Bolt and nut for the clamping the coil into the coil bracket as found in 1967-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. Fits all of the various coil brackets used 1967-73 on most all Ford engines. This is a 8-32x1-1/2, 1/4 hex headed fine thread bolt and nut.  This is not the round headed slotted screw type that Ford also used.

Backer board for the sill plate on any 1971-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Also called a shield, it bridges the gap over the channel for the wiring harness. Special steel clamps that hold both halves of the heater box together. Fully functional, but is different than the original. Replaces Ford Part #: C0DF-19A779-A. *NOTE* Never pry these off or the lip they attach to will lose the edge and it will be hard to fasten the clips back in place. They are designed to come off by inserting a standard screw driver in one of the ends and flexing the clamp to open the jaws.

Good used grommet that seals the heater hoses and A/C lines where they pass through the firewall on the passenger side. Made from a spongy rubber, attaches to the heater core and seals the firewall from the inside. This grommet does not use a retaining bracket like previous years. This plastic panel affixes to the radio bezel from the backside. Very rare item... For example, according to Kevin Marti, in 1971 only 1451 Cougars came equipped with this panel.
