Good used part no heavy pitting on the chrome, we sell these levers with installed cable, pawl, spring, and gear release assembly. If your automatic floor shifter has play in it left to right then this is the culprit. Easy to install, (more difficult if you have a 67-68 with center console) these are made from a wear resistant plastic that is better than original. Sold as a pair as two are required per car. This bushing was used in all Ford products equipped with a floor shift automatic from the 1965 Mustang to the late 70's Pinto. Not a very good color match for Cougar owners, but will work well with blue interiors.Stunning quality and far less likely to crack than the originals. The 67 version was actually a little different than 68 - 73 but you would have to look close to see the difference. Check out this video
D2ZZ-7210-A Round chromed �Hurst� labeled shifter for all 1972 and 1973 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs with factory installed 4 speed transmissions. Tough part to find loose, most will be attached to the correct vintage Hurst Competition shifter mechanism. These shifters will not come with the round shifter ball knob. Check out this video

Keep in mind these will work on the Cougar but are designed for the Mustang which has a lower maximum spring travel. If your Cougar is lowered in the rear by an inch or more these will be spot on.Sold individually
