These reproduction convertible panels only come in black and are sold as a pair. These are used hose clamps that bolt to the body and lateral A/C bracket. These were dipped in a rubber like substance to prevent chaffing. The ones that we have available may have some cracking or damage to this coating. It should be easy to 'dip' them again with the product that is available in most hardware stores. Stainless screw, most correct looking we have found. In 1967 - 1968 there were eight per wheel lip moulding, two per fender extension moulding, two per center grille moulding and five per hood lip moulding for a total of 50 screws. This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. You will notice the reproduction has a larger head (The two on the right in the lower picture are repros) than both of the used versions typically found on 67-73 Cougars. In 1967 - 1968 there were eight per wheel lip moulding, two per fender extension moulding, two per center grille moulding and five per hood lip moulding for a total of 50 screws. In 1969 - 1973 they were used on the wheel lips mouldings. The 1971 - 1973 hood lip mouldings used the same screw but it was 5/8" tall.
