Welded in hooked retainer for the rear seat back installation on any 1967-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang coupe or hard top body style. This bracket welds to the edge of the package tray. Two hooks per car, sold individually. We cut out a individual sections as shown. Make good measurements prior to removal of your old brackets. Grade "A" doors have never been dented in, cracked in the door latch area or rusted in the corners under the weatherstrip. When you turn it over and inspect it, the bottom seam it is not expanding from the inside out due to rust. This cowl is made for a car without AC but all you have to do to modify for a factory AC car is plug the vent hole on the driver side. Replaces Ford part # D1ZZ-6502010-A.

This attaches with two bolts to the driver side rear frame rail, it supports the flexible brake hose that goes to the rear axle.
