Used bolt and washer for attaching the crankshaft balancer or damper to the crank shaft. 15/16 inch hex head with 5/8-18 threads and 1.75 inches long. Basically fits all Mercury Cougar engines except the 1971 429 Cobra Jets engines. Fits 1967-73 289, 302, Boss 302, 351W, 351C, 390, 427, and 428CJ engines.Torque specifications for this bolt are 70-90 foot pounds.*Note does not fit 429 or 460 V8 engines or any 6 cylinder engines.
