Metal reinforcing plate welded to the center of the rear body, where the 9 inch third member may come into contact with the floor. Cut from one of our many parts cars. Likely originally had a Ford part number of 4731. 57084-S Attaching bolt with 7/16" hex head and captured washer. Among other things, it is used to attach the door run, window stops (all 3), both window stabilizers, and the window regulator. This is an exact replacement for a 1970 remote sport mirror. Nearly indistinguishable from a 1968. Obviously a larger ball and longer than found on 1969, 1971-73 remote mirrors. These fender emblems look much like the 1968 quarter panel emblems but differ in that they have longer studs that fasten via barrel clips as opposed to a speed nut used on the 1968 quater panel emblems. We have created all of the components needed to economically install the steel nutsert or Riv-nut for the exterior mirrors that mount to the car doors. Our steel Riv-nut uses a 1/4 inch hole.
