Mounts to the frame on the left side of the fuel tank. Supports and holds the rear of the tailpipe stationary. 1971 all 351 and 429CJ with dual exhaust. 1972 all 351 with "Quiet" and "Sporty" dual exhaust. Ford part number D1ZZ-5260-E. *Pipe clamp D1AZ-5A231-C needed 2" diameter pipe "Quiet". *Pipe clamp D1AZ-5A231-A needed 2-1/4" diameter pipe "Sporty".

Designed as a direct-fit OE-style replacement, this modulator valve will fit directly into the factory location of your current Cougar or Mustang valve. Also known as the throttle valve, this valve controls vacuum to the transmission as you press the gas pedal, and it will apply higher control pressure for better quality shifts at higher RPMs.

Reproduction flexible duct end that was originally stapled to the passenger side fresh air duct, found behind the passenger side dash panel of all 1971-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs without air conditioning. Restoration tip - Ford used a ring of foam as a seal between the duct and fresh air vent. Replaces Ford part number D1ZA-18C305-AB.

Channel bracket cut from a car. This is the front bracket for mounting fuel tank straps on a 1971-73 Mercury Cougar. Mustang may be the same, just not sure. No Ford part number found. We cut it from a car, spot welds of the actual bracket will need to be drilled and cleaned up prior to installation. Make sure that you measure the exact location of this bracket before you remove from your car. 

Used upper shock mount for Q code 351CJ and 351C-4V Cougars from 1972-73. We think. Probably includes 4 speed cars too from 1971. Bracket appears to be slightly different than the Mustang version of the same generation. Pretty rare bracket, likely needed the competition handling package option, with the 351C-4V engines. The only way you will ever get this plastic "table cloth type" mat to lay flat is to glue it down. They do however work well for catching oil spills under your Cougar when turned felt side up. The correct dark gray speckled pattern for 71 - 73 is not available with this mat. No returns on this product, we suggest no mat is a better alternative than this poor...
