Used intermediate pipe exhaust bracket for the 67 - 70 Cougar or Mustang. Used on big block vehicles equipped with the transverse muffler. Attaches to the resonator exhaust hangers just before the muffler pipe rises above the rear end. Sold individually, 2 required per car.

This rod is correct for the 428 CJ / SCJ with a C6 and is approximately 28".

Exact reproduction of this one year only rod is correct for the 351 Cleveland 4V and is approximately 27". This rod originally had a light blue paint daub near the carburetor. It is a little longer than the 2V rod and connects to the carburetor at a slightly higher point. This reproduction rod is made from stainless steel and weighs slightly more than the original. Fits 1968-70 Ford and Mercury cars all with 390 or 428 engines. Identical to the 1968-69 FE lateral bracket except 1970 versions have square nuts on reverse.
