This retainer clamps together the two edges of the shroud and sets into the mounting holes on the column. The original is very hard to remove because of the saw blade teeth inside the grooves, and most times the tabs will easily break off. This reproduction will not have those teeth. Since we always claim to have parts nobody else does... This welds to the bottom side of the car just above the differential. When the rear suspension bottoms out, this is the plate the rubber snubber / bumper (mounted on the front on top of the dif.) makes contact with.

#373820-S Copper washer for attaching the 8 inch or 9 inch third members to the axle housings. Steel washers will leak, made from copper which is a soft metal and seals under the attaching nuts. Copper washers like the OEM Ford installed washers. Takes 10 washers total for both 8 and 9 inch rear ends. *Tip - It is a good idea to inspect or replace your old washers, many times they have tool marks from the housing or nuts that cause small troublesome leaks.
