Installation of this bracket is easy but you will have to make a spacer to fit on the outside of the frame rail. Hopefully you bought this bracket first before you tore out the nut inserts in the frame. If not you will need to get them up for now. Then tap the bracket toward the the outside of the car and make sure the cross bolt lines up. Then measure the gap and make a spacer to fit. This rod is correct for the 351 Cleveland 2V only and is approximately 27". A red paint daub was found on this rod, by trying to expose it with steel wool, it was almost erased. This would explain why we rarely find rods with the original paint daub in place. Slightly shorter than the 4V rod and has a lower connection point to the carburetor.

This group of parts mounts to the top of the AT shifter arm and rides against the thumb activated button on your T shift handle. This gives the thumb release button in your T shaped shift handle its tension. If it is rusted then your button will not return back to its outer position easily.
