If you are converting your early 1970 Mercury Cougar or 1969 or early 1970 Cougar Coupe or Convertible from glue in glass to bolt in glass this is the hardware kit you will need. You can reuse your four C9ZB elevators that bolt to these brackets, the only difference between C9ZB and D0ZB is that the C9ZB is fastened by two bolts and the D0ZB has two studs and nuts. These inserts snap into your window elevators, four per elevator, eight per door for a total of 16 per car. Often the originals are worn down from lack of lubrication which will cause your door glass to rattle. The originals were more of a clear plastic, these are white in color. Often times these little emblems are missing from the shift handle because the adhesive has worn out and the emblem has fallen out and gotten lost.
