This is the correct, original cover for your 1969-70 Mercury Cougar and 1969-70 Ford Mustang antenna. This is a decent reproduction of the radio bracket for the 69 or 70. Take a look at the smaller image to see them side by side. The repro is slightly taller and has extra holes in it so it fits other applications. We recommend sticking with good originals.  Why deviate from 100% correct if you don't need to.

This is a flashing light bulb. It has a metal strip that heats up and breaks contact for a flashing effect. Starts out with the bulb on, and eventually starts flashing over a period of a few seconds.

This retainer is found on the backside of the door panel and is held in place by two screws. Screws that hold plate on may be available upon request for an additional fee.

Plan on some degree of pitting. Master power window switch bezel for any late 1970-72 Mercury Cougar or 1971-72 Ford Mustang. Replaces Ford part number C9AB-14A432-C.

Regardless of what you may have been told, this fifth switch found closest to the dash is not a power door lock switch rather it is to "lock-out" the power window on the passenger door and the two windows in the rear so the passengers cannot operate their power windows via their individual switches. Treat this switch with care (try not to ever use it) and lubricate it. These are very delicate and hard to obtain. Ford number stamped on the side C9AB-14A695-B.

These two switches are mated together but you can separate then from the backside and replace them individually. This double switch is only for the 1969 and early 1970 Cougars. Good used switch ready to install. Correct switch for the passenger side door and rear seat passenger area. Ford part number C9AZ-14529-D, engineering number usually stamped on the side reads C9AB-14529-A.

Chrome Cover only for those who have a functioning switch and have lost the chrome face. Will require gluing in place. There are two of these insulator plates used on the driver side master control switch. Sold individually.
