1970 Mercury Cougar

If you have an early 1969 your hinge was a flexible plastic strip that long ago began to fail. Often you will see generic piano hinge in its place. This is a correct reproduction of the hinge used in the latter part of 69 and all of 70 Cougar and Mustang consoles. Replaces Ford part # C9ZZ-6306050.

This is the correct pad for your 69-70 Cougar unless it is the XR7 which uses the three hump lid. Unlike some you may have seen in the past (for less $) this has the correct stitching on the front edge and is a much better fit. Comes in black only. All of our reproduction 69-70 consoles utilize this premium quality pad.

This is the economy version of the pad for your 69-70 Cougar unless it is the XR7 which uses the three hump lid. This is the same pad sold at many Mustang shops. It does not have the correct stitching on the front edge and is a bit short, but fully functional. Comes in black only.

This is a very rare find. Grade B used 1969 XR7 / Shelby only.Notice how the three humps stand taller and rounder than the reproduction. Limited colors on hand, please let us know which color you desire and we will try to accommodate. Pictured pad is for reference only. Grade B will have blemishes and or small cracks. Plan on repainting with SEM or other type of vinyl paint for best matching results.
