According to the 1968 Cougar assembly manual the Ford part number is C8ZB-65610B10. This part has an adjustment to fine tune the headrest post alignment.

Used bezel for the dual head rest found in the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This bezel measures 3 1/2" long and is correct for all 1968 models that use this part (including Shelby and Ford Mustang except the XR7 Mercury Cougar. These are used hose clamps that have a tab and fold over on them selves. These were dipped in a rubber like substance to prevent chaffing. The ones that we have available do have some cracking or damage to this coating. It should be easy to 'dip' them again with the product that is available in most hardware stores. We normally see 2 of these clamps, or straps bundling the hoses on most cars. These clamps should fit a variety of different Ford and Mercury products, not just Mustang and Cougar....

The only Cougar that we know came factory equipped with this part is the Cobra Jet. According to the Master Parts Catalog (MPC), any Cougar with a 3.91 or 4.11 rear end and a C-6 would have been equipped with this reducer. Replaces Ford Part #: C8ZZ-17294-A.

This clips affixes the plastic speedometer gear to the cable. Some have found that this OEM original clip fits a little better than the reproduction we offer. *Trivia* Did you know the first Cougar cast for production in 1968 was this "Custom Cougar"? This fine example was offered up on ebay summer 2008 for a mere $6500.

The only Cougar that we know came factory equipped with this part is the Cobra Jet. According to the Master Parts Catalog (MPC), any Cougar with a 3.91 or 4.11 rear end and a C-6 would have been equipped with this reducer. Ford called this part a 'sleeve'. Attaches to the lower shifter arm with a hitch pin. Has nice bushing, with correct nut, washer, and pin. The 1967/68 and 1969/73 versions are identical. The C1AA-7353-C sleeve has fine threads, the C9OZ-7353-A has course threads. Fits all 1967-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang, and we suspect many other Ford vehicles beginning in 1961. NOS power steering ram cylinder dated 6H25 or August 25, 1966. This one is date coded for a very early built 1967 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang, including Shelby GT350 and GT500. Bendix manufactured, shows a paint marking and gold cadmium? nut and band. Still has the plastic plugs and cardboard protection on the threaded shaft and drag link stud. This is the bracket needed if you are routing the PS lines under the lower control arm instead of over as found on the 67 - 68 small block. Reproduction concours weave black rear interior panel windlace that helps hold the rear interior panels in place. It is also known as the pinch weld moulding. This one piece of windlace will fit on either the driver and passenger side and is about 2 total feet worth of windlace. This complete four part kit is correct for any 1967-68 small block 289 or 302, and 351 Windsor Mercury Cougar or Ford anything 1967, 1968 and 1969. Used aluminum pump mounting bracket, front adjusting bracket with large hole, pivot stud, and nut.If you do not have a air conditioning you will need a spacer in place of the round spacer shown. If you have the 351 Windsor without A/C, you will need a the rectangular spacer which is sold separately.

A grade pad has not shrunk to the point that the center section will not fit well, it will not be curling and overall will be pliable. We rarely have more than a couple colors on hand but if you state your preference in the comments section we will try to accommodate.

Our grade "B" rods are just as straight as our grade "A" used rods but the will show pock marks from rust after you clean them. One can fill and sand but it will take time. These are still a better value than the Chinese rods we sell.*Note - 1970-73 strut rods work equally well.
