This reproduction knob set is made by Scott Drake Enterprises. Unlike our knobs, these units have a much larger font. Considering the average Classic Mustang owner is probably 50 years old or more, this was a pretty good idea to do them in this manner since the originals are rather hard to read while driving. If you want user friendly, then this is a very nice upgrade. If you want correctness, then our other set is what you will want. Either way, we got you covered.

Good used grommet that seals the heater hoses and A/C lines where they pass through the firewall on the passenger side. This part will not have any missing "chunks" but will show hairline cracks most evident where the heater core tubes pass through. 25 AMP circuit breaker for all 1968 Mercury Cougars and Ford Mustangs with factory air conditioning. Mounts on the panel, under the dash, next to the fuse block. This particular breaker was also used on the ASC installed 1968 sunroofs. It is 1.07" x 0.40" and has a single green and red dot. Box is marked Tung Sol, 25AMP 12V, and made in the U.S.A. New 1-1/4 inch expansion plug. Expansion plugs were used as dust covers on the wide bearing style air conditioning pulleys commonly used on Ford cars 1965-68. These are not a real tight fit in those pulleys. Best to still install to keep dust out, we recommend using a bit of JB Weld to hold them.

Finally, an answer to the much needed, delicate 1968 A/C side vents! Visually these are very hard to tell apart from the originals we have listed on this site, but functionally, they are much better in that they are cast in one piece. The originals were very prone to breaking and often when you close the door on your 1968 Mustang, Cougar or Shelby the lower portion of the vent falls off. Includes all three control knobs and dealer pricing available.

This hose is unique to vehicles equipped with A/C and is 25 1/4" long with a diameter of 2 1/2". It has a metal coil surrounded by 3/32" of foam rubber with factory clips on each end. Grade A hose that is not cracked, may have a small cosmetic scuff in the foam, and the clips will not be broken. Two required per car, sold individually.
