1967 Ford Mustang

Reproduction rubber bumper for your 67 - 73 Cougar or Mustang door latch mechanism. The bumper sits on the inside of your door latch mechanism, and is there to dampen the blow from the striker when you close your door.

These are the screws that secure the door latch mechanism to the door shell. These screws come with the attached crown headed lock washer, just like the originals, so be sure to tighten them down snugly to ensure that the screw head sits flush into the screw holes. Sold individually. Three required per door, six per car.

Steel door latch reinforcement repair kit. Countersunk bushings and screws for reinforcing the inside the door mounted latches on 1967-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs. Kit has 6 machine screws and bushings, enough for both doors. The metal on the doors is very prone to cracking in the screw area for those latches.

Often when your door will not latch this is the culprit.

Sold individually. Zinc (dark silver) finish.Little known fact: these aren't Phillips head screws, they are actually Pozi head / Pozi-Driv screws. While you can usually get a large Phillips screwdriver to work, the correct tool for these fasteners is a size 4 Pozi bit.
