Reproduction Vent Frame Bolt Kit 1967 and 1968 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang

Front retractor bolt, used in conjunction with two rubber spacer / washers and one washer. The two rubber washers go on either side of the re-tractor mounting hole and the metal washer is against the inner rocker.

Front inner bolt that attaches female portion of the lap belt to the transmission tunnel. Used in conjunction with a silver, fat washer that is slightly cupped.

Reproduction black oil cap for your 67 - 70 Cougar or Mustang, featuring the FoMoCo logo.

Used oil fill cap for 1967 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with 289 engine. This black painted twist on oil cap was found on non-emission cars. Meaning 49 States except for California.*Note - a chromed version was also available with engine dress up kits.

Rechromed, used oil fill cap for 1967 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with 289 or 390 and California emissions. Used early version short seat belt mounting bolt to mount the front retractor to the inner rocker panel and used in conjunction with a large washer. This is an early version of the the seat belt bolt with faint or no markings on the head, the later versions are longer, and have much more prominent head markings.13/16" hex head, 1-1/8inch bolt with a 3/16 inch shoulder.

New pan head screws for installing the automatic console shifter bezel. Sold as a set of 4. Used in conjunction with the 3 metal strips to attach the automatic shifter bezel. Correct black pan head Phillips screw. *HINT - The metal strips can be made from any strips of steel, they don't really need the edges folded if you don't cinch them down too tight. Metal strip should be 1-11/16" x 5/8" with a hole in the middle.

This A/C tag clip fastens the aluminum tag to top of the A/C pump.

These are the screws that secure the door latch mechanism to the door shell. These screws come with the attached crown headed lock washer, just like the originals, so be sure to tighten them down snugly to ensure that the screw head sits flush into the screw holes. Hex head screw for attaching floor drain hole covers. Several different screws were used over the years and at different plants. All seem to be a #8 sheet metal screw of varying lengths. This is a #8 hex washer head tapping screw with 5/8" length. Two screws per drain cover, 2 or 4? per car, not sure. We also have the drain covers. 

Barrel nut for the 3/16" stud found on the 6.5 Liter badge and the GT badges that mount on the fender of 1967 Mercury Cougar and Mercury Cyclone GT with the S code 390 engine. Same GT badge on the 1968 Mustang GT models. Item sold individually. Not 100% correct, but close and functional. In 1967 - 1968 there were eight per wheel lip moulding, two per fender extension moulding, two per center grille moulding and five per hood lip moulding for a total of 50 screws. In 1969 - 1973 they were used on the wheel lips mouldings. The 1971 - 1973 hood lip mouldings used the same screw but it was 5/8" tall. Sold as a box of 100.

Replaces Ford part # C8ZZ-6513208-T.  Technically this is the version found on early 1967 cars, the late 67 and 1968 versions had a larger blue oval 'Ford', and did not have the 'Product of' line.

Fits both left or right, sold individually. These have a higher degree of luster than the originals but are made of same material and weigh exactly the same as our NOS examples. Very little difference from our more expensive version which is made using original tooling. Ford Logo sold separate, sold individually, two required per car. Concours? Well almost... These are stainless steel screws with the wax tipped coating like the originals, for installing the door sill plates. The wax was deemed necessary by the Ford Motor Co. as a seal. These can be used on all years 1967-73 Mercury Cougar, Ford Mustang and most all other Ford, Mercury, Lincoln cars of the era. These interchange left to right, they are a mirror image of one another. We recently did a side by side comparison of these so called "concours" sill plates and found very little difference when comparing them to the "economy" version... They both weigh .52 pounds, just like our NOS sill plates. They both have a high of luster, unlike the originals which featured very little "shine". Decent, used, driver quality part that will have scratches and dings consistent with a Cougar that has been on the road for decades. Even if we look through our pile and find the best we have it still will show wear, expect it to look just as ugly as the one pictured. Sold individually.

We have created all of the components needed to economically install the steel nutsert or Riv-nut for the exterior mirrors that mount to the car doors. Our steel Riv-nut uses a 1/4 inch hole. You will need a 5/32 Allen or hex key, 3/8 inch wrench, and a 7/16 inch wrench. The Riv-nut needs to be assembled on the kit as shown prior to installation. Reproduction convex passenger side mirror lens replacement for the 67 - 68 Cougar chrome side mirror. NOTE: The narrow end of the mirror goes up top on Cougar and is reversed for Mustang.
