Cancelling cam for the 67-69 Cougars and Mustangs with fixed columns. This cam is what returns your turn signal switch to the off position. This is not the same cam which comes inside tilt columns.

This reproduction universal joint fits the differential end of the drive axle and is used on all Mercury Cougars or Ford Mustangs equipped with the 289, 302, 351 Windsor as well as most 351 Clevelands (see chart). This unit is easy to test and can be seen by removing the glove box. Often it is the internal spring that fails on these and if your Cougar or Mustang will not easily change between blowing through the defrost ducts and the floor duct, this unit may be the culprit. C6ZZ-6582-H Smooth chromed valve cover without "Powered by Ford" embossed in the metal. Correct on 1967 DGS Mercury Cougar and optional on 1965-67 Ford Mustang with 289 engines. Ford master parts catalog shows a right and left version of this cover those numbers are C6ZZ-6582-H & C6ZZ-6582-J. *Note - This is a used chrome valve cover.
