This three part bracket assembly attaches to the console and to the stud protruding from the back of your radio. If you do not use it, you may damage your console due to the weight of the older radios. Correct for Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. This reproduction neutral safety switch is for the early 67 Cougars with a C-4 automatic transmission. It has two small plugs as opposed to one large like the later version we also have listed. Ford part #  C4AZ-7A247-C, SW 368.

This is actually the correct 2 inch screw for the 1968, as opposed to the 1 3/4 inch screw that would have come in the 67. With the added length this screw is less likely to pull out of the firewall than the 67 screw was. Fits Standard and XR7. Sold individually.
