This unit was used only one year on the Cougar and is unique because of its smaller fitting (1/4") for the pressure hose. Many 1967 Cougars have been converted to the 1968 valve over the years so you may want to double check your valve before ordering. This high performance alignment kit replaces the factory eccentric bolt and cam that holds the lower control arm to the frame. The eccentric cam is used for setting wheel camber. When the eccentric is turned, the lower arm moves in or out changing camber. Stock eccentric cams can slip or rotate going over bumps, allowing the alignment to change. These are made with synthetic elastomer bushings which are similar to polyurethane in performance and longevity, but will not squeak like polyurethane. Fits all 1967-68 Mercury Cougar and 1967-69 Ford Mustang cars with transmission code W on the door tag. Cast aluminum construction, the 1968 Cougar version will have the provision for mounting the damper weight on the bottom. Replaces Ford part number C6DP-7A040-A.

Used tube with a tapered end for the vacuum modulator on 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with drum brakes and C4 or automatic transmission, but without power drums or power disc brakes. With power brakes the vacuum hose was connected to a fitting in the intake manifold. Pictured in the Bob Mannel Ford Small Block V8 on page 7-26. The basic Ford part number is 7B094.*Note - this tube is not used with disc brakes.

Used servo cover from a 1967-68 Ford C-4 transmission. This cover has the big A cast into it, which designates it as an "A" Intermediate Servo Band Cover. Typically, this cover would be found on C4's, with Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs with C code 289-2V, A code 289-4V, or F code 302-2V engines. Cover only, marked C6AP-7D027-C.

Designed as a direct-fit OE-style replacement, this modulator valve will fit directly into the factory location of your current Cougar or Mustang valve. Also known as the throttle valve, this valve controls vacuum to the transmission as you press the gas pedal, and it will apply higher control pressure for better quality shifts at higher RPMs.

Used clip for mounting the vacuum modulator steel line or tube on 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with C4 or automatic transmission. Mounts under one of the top bolts where the bell housing connects to the engine block. This is not a reproduced part, that we know of.  The basic Ford part number is 7C072.

3 1/8" Style Steel Wheel Spare Tire Hold Down. Available in Black or Chrome. Ford Master Parts Catalog indicates that this hold down was found on some 68 and 69 Cougars with SS Wheels. You may need to bend the ears in slightly to get them to fit properly inside the hole in the center of the wheel. Replaces Ford Part #: C8MY-1424-A.

Correct style nut with captured washer for attaching hood scoops, 1969-70 Mercury Cougar inside door handles, and 1967-68 trunk lock. Correct nuts would have been black phosphate, these are shiny gold as shown.

Exact replacement inside door handle nut, trunk lock nut, and hood scoop nut. Same finish as originals. 10 of these are used to mount the 68-71 hood scoop found on the 68 428 CJ, 69-70 Eliminator, 69-70 428 Ram Air equipped Cougars and 71 GT and 429CJ. Two of these per door are used on the 69-70 inside door release. Two of of these nuts used to attach 1967-68 Cougar trunk locks.
