The Proper ignition advance curve is vital for maximum performance, economy (gas mileage) and drive-ability. Used bolt and washer for attaching the crankshaft balancer or damper to the crank shaft. 15/16 inch hex head with 5/8-18 threads and 1.75 inches long. Basically fits all Mercury Cougar engines except the 1971 429 Cobra Jets engines.
