Used under dash wiring harness repair pigtail that goes from the engine feed harness to the neutral safety / backup lights of the Mercury Cougar Standard.

Used wiring pigtails for the ignition switch and ignition system of the standard Mercury Cougar. One pigtail plugs into the back of the ignition switch and the other goes through the firewall and connects to the main under hood wiring harness. These pigtails also have the pink resistance wire intact which runs between the two pigtails.  DO NOT cut or splice into this wire, it's resistance is dependent upon it's UNCUT length.

Both deluxe and standard used the same retractor in 1968 - 1969 and left is the same design as right. Grade "B" retractors will be 100% functional but cosmetically will show a crack in the plastic holster, and may have minor rust on chrome. Keep in mind no retractor was used in convertibles until 1972, only a lap belt. NOTE: Front retractors are same for left and right, and are good for all 67-73 Cougar AND Mustang applications. This is the complete one piece seat belt buckle cover which comes with the face plate (with the round cutout for the push button) and the bezel all in one. This version is handy when you don't want to deal with multiple parts (as is the case with the separate face plate and bezel version). Used plastic sheath that covers the bolted buckle end of where your shoulder belt attaches to the roof section of your car. Sometimes when removing the bolt from your shoulder belt, this sheath will tear if the plastic has become stiffened. Reproduction set of Deluxe seat belts for the 68 - 69 Cougar or Mustang Coupe. Some things you may want to notice are that although these are made to fit both 68 and 69, the webbing is the 68 style. 1968 belts had four rows of material that make up the belt and 1969 belts had three rows (as seen in the picture above).
