Core regulator assembly or brain box for factory speed control on a early 1968-69 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This is the Perfect Circle regulator assembly. Basic Ford part number is 9D757, research has not turned up the complete Ford number possibly C8VY-9D757-A. Core grade, most likely will need servicing or repair. Bare unit, no brackets, wiring or cables. *Note - We do not have the tools or know how to test this unit.
New pair of weld in shock tower reinforcement plates cut from 11 gauge steel (1/8") for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. It is common knowledge that one of the main design flaws of the early Cougar or Mustang are the shock towers. Because of this design flaw, it is common (even with pampered, low mile, completely stock cream puffs) for the shock towers to have some degree of cracking as they were never designed to fit an oversized wheel and tire package, be cornered hard or handle the heavy...

1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougar emergency light flasher relay. Good used, original, and 'tested' unit ready to plug in and use. Lead wire not included, shown in picture for help in identification purposes. Replaces Ford part number C7WB-10C838-B. The reason we gave this used item a crappy logo, is that they weren't designed to last over 50 years. The simple electronics they used back when they made these cars just weren't up to par with the quality of electronics designed today. We recommend...
Low fuel option electrical relay. Stamped C6AF-10A968-A, Ford engineering number C5AZ-10A968-C. This relay was used on 1965-70 Ford and Mercury full sized cars, 1968-70 Torino/Cyclone/Montego/Fairlane, along with 1967-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with that low fuel option. New Old Stock relay. *Note - Generally this will not solve your low fuel indicator problems. The low fuel indicator failure is almost always due to a failed thermistor. The thermistor is located on the fuel sending...

This is a good quality non-concours starter solenoid. Inexpensive replacement if you are not worried about being 100% correct. Disappointing quality, often will fail in less than a year, we recommend buying original FoMoCo. Replaces Ford part # B6AZ-11450-A, C7AZ-11450-A & D2AF-11450-A.
These are all new, not rebuilt, OEM Ford quality. We recommend these over the generic version and the "concours" version. Black case as original.Replaces Ford Part #: C7AF-11450-A1 , B6AZ-11450-A , C7AZ-11450-A , D2AF-11450-A , etc

There is an active thread on the Classic Cougar Community Forum discussing tilt columns and trouble shooting. *NOTE* For tilt column service, you can contact Tony Augustine at 6t8cougarguy@gmail.co...
