fit well

Great product as I adapted therm to use on 1968 Fairlane. Worked perfectly!

I don't know if its because I used 2 of the originals and only needed to replace two or what but these fit perfectly and no more rattle on my window!

These guides are good quality but unfortunately not as tall as the originals and so still leave play against the window rails. Don even mentions this himself in the his video on the subject. I found a nice little tip to make them fit properly. Cut slithers of rigid plastic and place one under each wing of the guide before clicking it in to place. This gives them the extra height they need to bring them up to the original specs. They click in quite firmly so there is little chance of them falling out. You could even add a small amount of glue to insure they don't. The plastic does not need to be very thick. Like that of most clear packaging you find these days, or a shirt box for instance. Hope you find this useful.

i put a small thin strip of plastic between the insert and window elevator for a rattle free window.

Easy to assembly and fixed my issues with too much window play

If it reduces the rattles it will be worth the effort to fit them.

Andrew from Down Under, gave a great tip in his review. I made plastic spacers (from my favorite tub of strawberries) making them the same width but a quarter inch longer than the insert itself and cut a horseshoe shaped slot up the middle. Works great and a nice snug fit on the window rails!
