broke as I was installing, hair too tight on shifter, wrong material original is plastic, the bend in the metal is where it broke

This product is so much better than the original plastic material but there is a problem with the bore. Even if you clean the shifter shaft this product did NOT slide down easily on the shifter stem, it actually broke the angled plate off and I had to order a new one, which I took a small round file to to make the hole slightly bigger. After this it slipped on well.

Good quality and very exact repro as compared to what I could salvage from the original one
