Fit was perfect. Original one was in bad condition. Glad I ordered this before taking the shifter apart.

Access Plug-Shift Bolt-Repro-67 to 73 Merc Cougar

The old plug on my 69 base coupe was so old and dried out, it literally crumbled when I removed it. This new plug is made of good quality rubber which is nice & pliable making the install easy.

Great fit at right price

Good quality product and easy install. Better gap in seal area than others (i.e. the new one that popped out sometime in last few months) and fits fully and snugly into opening. A little silicone lube on the lip makes seating a breeze.
