'67 Cougar XR7

Seems quality material but two of the alignment tabs on the long side did not match the standard notches on the valve cover edge thereforefiled new notches to match and even with RTV the gasket still slipped and leaked so had to remove, clean the surfaces and use a Fel-Pro rubber gasket with metal core for easy installation and no leaks. Also the 3/4" long Allen head bolt set are too short for the added thickness of the aluminum valve cover, 1" bolts are more secure

Much better than the old cork gaskets that are a super pain to remove.

Easy to install. Fit as they should. Great replacement for cork gaskets.
