Fit perfect, easy install, nice and bright.
I was very happy with the LED replacement light for the automatic transmission shift indicator on my console (1967 Cougar XR7). It's bright enough to clearly see what gear you're in but not overwhelmingly bright. I guess it's 10-20% brighter than the new 1445 incandescent bulbs I also ordered that are used for the shift indicator but also a couple of other purposes. I'm going to keep the LED bulb for the shift indicator since it's not too bright for me. One caution, I rarely drive the car at night so don't know if it is much brighter than the 10-20% I'm estimating compared to the 1445 bulb driving at night.
