These headlights are incredible. The fit is good and the look is close enough. The only issue I had is the Torino headlight wiring harness doesn’t have disconnect plugs like Cougars. I bought the headlight pig tails for a Cougar and only had to make one solder connection to use the relay.
I am really pleased with everything about this kit, except the halogen lights. The relay kit appears to be of very high quality, but the "Octane" brand lights do not fit the car. The problem is the "stand offs" on the back of the bulb that index the light into the black headlight bucket. The stand offs are too tall by about a 1/4". That doesn't sound like much, but it prevents you from being able to install the bulb into the car. I had to go out and buy a set of Sylvania brand bulbs that have the same dimension of stand offs as the original bulb. The Sylvania bulbs fit just as intended. That is why I dinged the review with poor fit and correctness. The relay harness was easy to install. Everything fit as outlined in the instructions, and it plugged right into the factory harness. I was able to conceal the harness under the battery tray, so you can barely see the extra parts when the hood is open. The relay portion of the kit gets high marks for material, fit, craftsmanship and correctness. If I had the opportunity to do this project over, I would purchase just the relay kit, and would buy bulbs on my own.
