Electric Headlight Door Conversion.

I've been wanting to do this conversion for years, and wish I would have done it sooner. I live at 5200 feet elevation, and my motor does not produce a lot of vacuum at idle because of my cam choice. I'm lucky to get 10" of vacuum at idle. Thus, my power brakes are not great. I run a vacuum pump. but it is almost always on. The installation of this kit made a huge difference in how the motor runs and idles, and the vacuum pump rarely comes on. The difference is phenomenal.



The kit was easy to install. The directions were accurate and easy to follow. The quality of the parts appears to be very good. Wiring harnesses were high quality and plugged right into the factory harness. I took the time to conceal the harness as much as possible, which was not difficult. It fit under the battery tray for the most part.



I am very pleased with the modification to the car.

Finally headlight eyelid doors stay shut!

Great kit, well-constructed, semi-easy to install and adjust! Ends frustration of vacuum leaks and headlight eyelid doors coming open.

Straightforward Installation

WCCC's video is very good in showing the whole installation process. Takes away some of the questions regarding the installation. I would suggest placing some cardboard (or equivalent ) in front of the rad during the removal / installation process to limit damage to the rad fins.

I received my conversion kit. It took me about four hours to install because I had an issue with the headlight switch. Adjusting it was easy. Definitely worth the money

Works like a charm

This was fairly easy to install. The video found here really helped. The only issue I had was the actuator kept jamming into the headlight rod when closing. No matter what adjustments it kept doing it. I decided to add 2" extension where it bolts on to the headlight rod to drop the actuator and it works no problem now. Clears it every time.
