Quality product as usual. The threaded stud was a bit to long as stated. I put a stainless steel washer between the acorn nut and the trunk to make up the difference.

Appearance is not original but functional clips work well.

Acorn nuts better than original!

The nuts are stainless and will never corrode. The studs on the clips were a little longer than my originals which actually helped on the portion of my deck lid that was rusty and the metal was expanded. On the other areas I bent the tin portion of the clip to give it a little arch tus receding the stut inward a little and giving the clip a tighter fit. Been looking for these for a long time, next I will come here first!

My old ones were a little rusty on the trim side, so I decided to take it off and put a set of new ones.

It really worth it!

I forgot that the studs are long on these and the acorns started separating when tightened. One came completely off. I put the nuts in a vise to squeeze the acorns back on. Then I trimmed the studs about 1/8" using threaded cutters. They worked great after that.

This fastener kit is great. Fit like a glove and the acorn nuts look to be almost chromed. For the price, this kit should be automatically added when a new deck/trunk moulding is sold.
