The old boot on my Cougar was starting to look a little rough, so for Mothers Day my husband bought me a new boot for my 71 xr7 convertible. I love it! it was a little tight getting it on the first time but they kind of need to be. It came with pads that I can position where I need it. the material is almost exactly like the old one ( only clean and new) the stitching, shape, fit are perfect and the snaps are in exactly the right place. I would totally recommend this purchase for anyone with a 3rd gen cougar (71-73).

The quality, material, fit. and overall appearance is great. I followed the directions and then placed it on the car. The new boot gave my XR7 a 'wow" appearance. The price was very good and well worth the purchase.
