I watched the You tube video before I started to install them, it was useful. However, I did not have to cut any material off the rear pieces like the video. I started fairly low in the front of the rear wheel well but not below the original holes. Worked the material very close and tight to the lip and molded the rear section just a hair below what the original was. I think it looks a lot better than if I would have cut it. Not a twenty minute job, more like forty-five, but who's counting... The only complaint would be the super cheap screws, clean and use your originals. Forty plus years old and still better than those new foreign screws.

These wheel lip moldings look great. They were very easy to install. I watched the WCCC video and it helped a lot. Had to do some minor trim as told. All in all very satisfied.

Was hesitent to purchase but very happy I did. Really easy install and look great. Material is very easy to shape, just take the time to watch the video and be patient during install.

67 Cougar XR7 Moulding Trim - Wheel Lip

I watched the WCC video and it seemed pretty straight forward. I read some reviews that looked like some folks had some fitment issues. Maybe it was the previous version. I bought this version in March 2025 and it installed with very little issue. Do not force your material. I am very happy with the outcome in the picture attached.

These lips set were a bit tricky to fit however it was just a short time before I had my cat all trimmed up. Save yourself some time and go buy a set of good quality #8 sheet metal screws and throw the supplied ones away.

I was not sure about how these would fit. Boy was i surprised when i installed them. I only had to cut about 2 inches off of the rear moldings [ i was told this before ordering]. They fit excellent and look great. really dress up the cougar.
