    Description

Upholstery components have an ETA of 10 - 12 weeks.

Door Tag trim Code: 2K.    This is a full interior seat cover set for both bucket seats and the rear seat or you can select fronts only. Choosing who to buy your interior kit from is confusing to say the least as no company will boast "Ill Fit & Poor Materials!". In fact there are many companies selling less than quality products and prices for poor quality can run the gamut from $225-$500 per kit! Here are a few points I would like to point out on our 1968 Mercury Cougar Decor Interior kits. Much time has been taken to assure that the correct materials are being used. The piping is the correct diameter, the horizontal "basket weave" design is in place (many companies skip this detail), the correct opposing grains of vinyl are used, correct foam backing is sewn in place and the correct thickness of vinyl is used.

*Customer Feedback* 9-18-07 "Hi Lin and Don, Just a note to let you know that we received the 1968 Ivy Gold Decor seat cover kit today. Not only are they extremely well done and perfect, but most importantly, accurate! Service from your company was beyond excellent. You have my business and I will spread the word to everyone who's interested in restoring a Cougar that I come in contact with. The seats will be installed October 1st and we will send you before and after pictures if you'd like. Ole Higie, (the 68 Cougar), has always been garaged so her seats were not faded... just the front needed replacing but when putting the new next to the old for comparison it's amazing how "accurate" they are! Great job. Especially when we were told that the middle insert color and fabric were unattainable by XXX and we'd have to get original seats from an old car to have ones that were 100% accurate. Shame on them for not telling the truth, but kudos to you for making sure you got it right! Please send us some of your business cards to pass out! Also, one of your T shirts, as per your offer today. Not only are you very informative, personable, have great items, do what you say you will in a timely fashion but send shirts as well... What a deal!" Sincerely, Walt B.

I bought my 69 Cougar in Jul of '09 as a retirement from the Army gift to myself. From day 1 it had intermittent heating problems that I tried to fix. I changed the radiator, thermostat, water pump, and added 2 12 in 1400 cfm electric cooling...

My 1971 Cougar XR7 was retrofitted with a Ford “400”, Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carb, TCI Street Fighter trans, B & M Hammer shifter, and dual turbo exhaust. While this sounds interesting, the Cougar itself was seriously neglected and...

WCCC hooked me up with an original glove box cable and the correct screws WITH shoulders for my glove box. Their listing for these screws explains that the original screws have a shoulder for the cable and most people put in the wrong screws--which...

I have been a cougar owner for just shy of 30 years, I have been dealing with part problems for a very long time. The people at WCCC have always be honest, and overly helpfull. I now have a 1970 XR-7 mostly rebuilt, and my son has a 1968 base...
