The Cougar used a seat riser that was about one inch lower in height compared to the Mustang so as to compensate for the more plush foam and upholstery.

BOSS 302, 351w, 351c, 390 and 428 Eliminator Cougars all used the same scoop whether they were equipped with Ram Air or not. The Scoop measures 21 5/8" at the widest point on the front, 25" at the widest point at the rear and 26 1/8" tall when stood on end and measured at its longest point. These are reproduction heater hose grommets for the heater hose to pass through the firewall. Most of the firewalls that we have seen have a flared opening for the hose without a grommet. These are a more dense rubber than our other versions. Still not sure that they are needed?

This 1969-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang shield, was installed at the factory to protect the heater motor from being damaged when the Big Block 390 / 428CJ's were being dropped in. This A/C vacuum canister mounts through the passenger side fender apron near the hood hinge. This vacuum reservoir controls, damper doors inside the A/C unit.
